FriskyCatStudio ("we," "us," or "our") operates FrisQuiz at frisquiz.com. This policy explains what information we handle when you use FrisQuiz and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

• Account information: When you create or sign in to an account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and authentication details. Email-and-password accounts must verify their email address before account features are available. If you choose Google sign-in, we may also receive your display name and profile photo. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Profile and activity: We store account profile details, avatar choice, quizzes you create, favorites, and game activity in Firebase Firestore.
• Quiz content: Quizzes and their titles, questions, and creator display names may be publicly readable and shown to other users so quizzes can be discovered and played. Do not include private or sensitive information in a quiz.
• Multiplayer information: A game may process a room code, player display name, avatar, and game state so participants can play together. Use a nickname rather than information you do not want other players to see.
• Messages to us: If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject, message type, and message are sent to us through EmailJS.
• Basic technical information: Firebase, EmailJS, and the providers that deliver fonts and icons may receive technical information such as browser, device, and connection data needed to provide and secure their services.

How we use information

We use information to provide sign-in, save profiles and quizzes, operate multiplayer games, remember favorites and game activity, respond to support requests, and protect or maintain FrisQuiz. We do not sell personal information.

Services we rely on

FrisQuiz uses Firebase Authentication and Firestore, operated by Google, to provide accounts and store app data. Google provides the optional Google sign-in service. EmailJS delivers contact-form messages. These services process information under their own privacy terms and service agreements.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and associated information while it is needed to provide FrisQuiz. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by following the instructions on our Data Deletion page. Contact messages may be retained separately as needed to respond and maintain support records.

Children

FrisQuiz is intended for people aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may not create or use an account. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to FrisQuiz, contact us so we can review and delete the information as appropriate.

Security

We use Firebase services and their security controls to help protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and avoid putting sensitive information in public quiz content or game names.
